fished north shore sat 2hrs before high lots of weed about at distance, so went to Colwyn prom, the pier was packed so went of the rails just passed the barrier. Loads of big makeral about, kept about half a dozen for the bbq put loads back (all shaken off) The small silver feathers did the trick but awkward to shake em off. loads of people fishing, got most of them returning there fish the same way. Pity about people casting sideways over my line but a nice day anyway

I also fished the north shore on sunday 2hrs before high and blanked. I was hoping for some mackerel for tea but came home with arm ache - guess i should have gone to Colwyn prom. Having said that i did catch a small dab (1 inch long). It was foul hooked on my dexter wedge. Lets hope for better luck this weekend.

Flatten the barbs with pliers and they come off easily.
