I'll be with you next week in sunny Seaton, has anybody fished it recently and if so what's happening? Can I expect Mackerel and bass from the beach. I had a little schoolie from the beach a couple of years ago, which was my first ever bass. This year I'm hoping for its dad, what do you think my chances are?

Jeez, don't all reply at once eh! A talkative bunch down there aren't you!!!! I guess I'll have to find out myself the old fashioned way. Well thanks for listening anyway, its been great!! I can see it now, a beach full of anglers saying nothing to each other all day.......... I'll be the one with the daft hat.

Certainly Mackerel further along at Branscombe . Bass any where along S Devon at moment Mackerel too. Try the River mouth at Axe Mouth, far East end of Seaton beach. I have been told often Bass taken there. Tides not up to much until next weekend though. I know a Surgeon from Taunton often catches them on the Fly in the estuary. You will need a ticket and line license if you fish land side of the Bridge though. If you are by any chance a fly fisherman , (like my self) Sea Trout from main road up to wards Axminster. Private beat , ask me for Day ticket info. I know the owner of beat.
If you get chance give Branscombe a try. Don't cast big bait far out after dark . bloody Star crabs cut your hook trace off like it was done with a razor. But close in for bass , worth a try. Be there me self tonight. Not good tide, nice to be out.
