i have an Explorer Elite and need a part for it. I dont know the name of the part and wondered if anyone can help. I have to replace the black rubber trim around the middle of the boat and i need the some sort of bracket that screws in on one side of the boat next to the outboard and when the trim goes around the other side another bracket screws into a place next to the outboard on the other side. I hope I have explained alright. Not too savvy with the terminology. Any help on the name of this part or where i could find it would be gratefully accepted. Thanks in advance of any replies Mick

Mick, Company called WILKS (you should find them on the net) do all sorts of rub strips, I replaced the rub strip on my old boat as it was red (Im a Evertonian), they were very helpfull and sent a sample out overnight so i could check before i purchased. The brackets, I think you mean the retaining clamp things that hold the exposed ends onto the rail they also do, but I didnt have to buy them. I think i still have the original red strip which you can have if you want it, it came off a 16ft Bayliner sports boat. Chris 07917859345
