I have a Navman 5500 on my boat and am more than happy with it. God deals about on them as well at the moment. I know 5 other people using them and have not heard a bad word yet.

The plotter comes with a built in world map, ok for crossing the Atlantic but it has no detail on it at all, you need the cartridge for it to get the detail.
I have a Navman DSC VHF but have linked it to my spare gps, a Garmin 128. The Navman radio will link to any GPS you just set the GPS to output NMEA and you are away.
