You can launch between Rhosneigr & Treardur Bay at Rhoscolyn. Rhoscolyn is a relatively easy beach launch on your own, but there are reefs that need to be avoided. Study it at low water or ask local advice from the slipway attendant or another.
The major, (repeat) major draw back with Rhoscolyn is the long single lane at the end that goes down to it with no passing places. You could really do with someone at each end with two way radio or mobile or just get there very, very early.
My personal opinion is this is the one to master if you can sort out & negotiate the narrow lane as it is relatively central to The Rhosneigr & Treardur fishing areas.
All three of these are now manned official slipways (as such, if you could call them that) and require both boat registration and launching fees to be paid. Registration is an annual thing. You will need your insurance with you.
At Rhosneigr the beach ( considering the launching fees that are demanded) can be quite a joke if the sand is dry. Even with a 4x4 you have a high risk of getting bogged down just trying to get on & off the beach at the entrance with an outfit with any weight behind it.
Last week I struggled with my Warrior 150 (15') behind my 4x4, which is why a lot use the tractor service, which is essential anyway at low water for launching.
Treardur at low water can also be quite difficult as it is again quite flat and low shelving.

Hi Cliff, Check also with Holyhead sailing club. They may let you use their concrete slipway for a donation to their club funds. It would save you a tremendous amount of fuel and steaming time and it is a good safe launch.
There is actually another concrete slipway further along at Holyhead, but it curves quite acutely and would be difficult to negotiate.

Hi Cliff
I used Hoylhead sailing club last year, they ask £10 to use their slipway which is a very good wide concrete slip usable about 3hr either side of high tide.
