Hi Allen The weather was a bit on the blowy side. The fishing wasn't as plentiful as i had hoped, i tried for mackerel first off and would have moved up the coast a couple of miles for tope and skate but couldn't find a single one. The wind was blowing off shore so my plan was to drop anchor a few hundred yards from the beach and let the wind push me out of the bay on the drift, with the help of Dave's gps the drift was 1.5 mph. I did this about two or three times at different spots, only one drift accounted for the four species, i caught a Gar fish this being a first for me. This was my first trip in five months and on the whole was a good-en.

I'm hoping to be on the Llynn every weekend in Aug, I'll pm a few suggestions closer to the time when we know the weather and if any suit you I'd enjoy the company Alan. Cheers John

How far did you have to paddle to get there? I was going to join you but I was worried if Melissa could keep up in that breeze. Fished elsewhere (see my report).

Fished elsewhere (see my report). you would have enjoyed it at first .we stayed in the bay, but the wind did pick up later in the day, so you would have had to tow Malissa back in. john
