This might be just for the guys who havn't got Prowlers etc. I've got a Malibu 2 & bin trying to figure the rod holder aspect of it. I've fitted 2 flush mounts, and have been using a plastic tube with foam taped on top in the scupper hole as a "yeh it works" but the reel's getting water, and it's so low it catches on the back strap of the back rest. Found this though - No it's not a sex aid.... ;D It's the bit that holds a parasol for tables (the bit between the shaft & the white weight holder thing). Haven't tried it yet but looks like it'll do the job.

Waynee, according to the text in between the 2 sets of photo's "It's the bit that holds a parasol for tables (the bit between the shaft & the white weight holder thing)." so Marc, does this mean we can expect to see loads of pubs with no umbrellas outside in the Cheshire Area Marc, it looks your yak gets luxury treatment, from the pictures, it appears to be kept in the lounge..... or you've carpeted the garage ! ;D My Malibu 2 and 2 Kea's for the kids are on order, so hopefully I'll be afloat soon as well

Marc, That Looks like a 2XL, I've just fitted 3 of my four flush mounts to mine, also have Scotties running down the right hand edge and a Scotty in the centre consul at the front, Fishfinder this weekend if I have time. The parasol idea is brilliant, trying to make at child friendly as possible as two of my three are keen to join me, although that has now become one, as my lad broke his elbow on Saturday and out of action for nearly 3 months! Hope to have it all on AnglersAfloat by the end of the month. SM

Looking forward to seeing the update on Angersafloat - still haven't decided where to put a Scottie type holder, it's not an XL so not sure if the sides will take one. I'll let you know if it works ok. Marc BTW There's at least one pub in nantwich short of a parasol holder....

An update on the modified sex aids......I mean parasol holders Using them the first couple of times, was a bit worrying as they kept popping out (no comments...pls ). But have added elastic to hold 'em in place. Still a bit awkward to reach, but a lot better than previous arrangement. Oh yeh Kev did point out that they would stop drainage so drilled some holes in to fix that. Don't ask me where they come from, have been scanning pub parasols, haven't seen any that are the same. Also tried B & Q, Focus & Homebase. Before: After:
