Launched the Malibu2XL at Four Mile Bridge two hours before LW last Tuesday (should have been LW-3). Other brother-in-law on board - not the 6'5" one! Paddled down the estuary to Cymyran beach (40mins) past some fishy looking swims, but late, so not much time to stop. Some fish rising, threw a lure a few times but no takes. Met up with son and girl picnicing at Cymyran, then continued on through the shore break with waves breaking over the front of the 'yak - and me. Planned to stop just offshore and fish the start of the flood, but a good F3 blowing so sea lumpy with a few white horses, so continued on about half a mile offshore, past Silver Bay to Rhoscolyn beach. Wheeled the 'yak up to the White Eagle to meet the wives and a welcome change of clothes, meal and real ale. Trip highly recommended, but pick a calm day when one could safely hug the coast from Cymyran to Rhoscolyn.
