Found these lures and was wondering if they would be any good - they have that shiny chrome finish almost the same as thunderstick. Bought a load of lures like this and poppers and stuff all being shipped over from America, Very cheap indeed. Some as little as 50p each and these about £2.60 each. Not selling them but just wondered what you reckoned? These look interesting and will have a different movement. Some poppers. And these caught my eye

Hard to tell from just pictures but some might say they look cheap and nasty, but they look fishy enough to me! I've seen some massive fish hooked on cheap lures.
The crayfish ones look interesting - I havent got a crayfish lure but I know they are supposed to be good for wrasse. The top ones look like Rapala J13's so may swim quite deep. (between 3 and 6 foot perhaps) The poppers look OK, and the ones witht the big diving vanes will probably swim very deep. I'd check the hooks for sharpness, and test the links on the jointed ones, then the only way to find out is to get out there and give them a try. If you can find any, I'd go somewhere with clear water and an elevated position so you can look down and watch the lures action. It might be a bit early for the plugs in a lot of places, but you never know...theres always a chance. If you have never lurefished before I'd advise you to try and go with someone who has, that way youre less likely to lose them all on snags and some instruction will be able you to fish them properly. Buying lures with no reputaion is always risky in that even tho they might look good they might be no good atall. It can be fun too tho. If the'yre no good you could always put em on ebay - theres always folk on there who will claw each others eyeballs out for stuff like that. I reckon I spotted a couple of likely-looking eye-gougers on this forum!

Harpoon, The Crayfish plug that the legendary Dr M.Ladle uses is the one I use, and he's the Doctor? The only thing I ever caught on it is a 6" pollack and a 3' piece of Kelp!

To me Fester that lure is a really deep diver, its going to snag up one of these days. Try taking some of the vane off. I have 4 Crayfish lures that all dive at different depths so i can use the right lure in the right area.

Labrax
I have only used it at deep water marks, and I intend it to go deep, I don't use it much, I suppose a decent pollack might go for it but a jelly worm or red gill would work better!
