Having just got myself into spinning and plugging in a big way Ive just got myself the imax spinning/lure waist bag, brilliant bit of kit, well worth looking at if your just getting started like me, theres plenty of pockets and little gizmo's on it like lure tubes plastic lure box, water bottle, ideal to stick round your waist and wonder off with your rod, will post some pics tomorrow for anyone that doesn't know what I'm on about! Heres some pics, inside the main compartment theres a tackle box and 4 lure tubes in the front compartment there's a couple of small mesh pockets and 2 foam lure patches to hook your spinners to And theres also a handy little lanyard at each end of the bag to attatch whatever you want to Well worth the £20 they sell for!!

Smart bit of kit that keep meaning to order 1. Where did you get it from veals? Waist bags are the way to go i have a mountain biking 1 that I use but the imax looks like it has loads of room. Can the lure tubes be removed so I could fit another lure box in?

yeah got it from veals, for £20 its a steal, ordered it and it was here the next day. the lure tubes are removable, they have velcro on them and they just stick to the inside of the bag. With them removed theres enough room for 2 tackle/ lure boxes. Ive just pulled them out and tried it. the front pocket where the lure patches are doesnt open all theway down whitch is good, if you look at the bottom pic theres some retaining straps so you have like a table top to put things on, whitch again is handy, ive had some near misses dropping plugs!!

Nice 1 martin. Looks like it holds the same lure boxs that I already have as well which is a bonus ;D. One thing im always scared of is leaving a bag of lures on the beach. I would be devestated if this happend as some lures carnt be replaced not to mention the expense.

hi martin. when you put your lures on the foam pads dont the hooks catch in the mesh pockets, presuming they are trebbles.

Thinking about it they may well do, ive not road tested it yet. i think spinners like dexters or yann's will be ok as theres no mesh higher up, plugs might get stuck with 2 sets of trebles.
