went to pier in colwyn 25 people fishing on Pier only one macky caught between us all
the tackle shop on Pier is very very good the guys there really know there stuff they have quality tackle "n cheap stuff for kids" lots of very fresh bait loads of local info lady there very helpful i recommend this shop to all in north wales as it is very good i come from nantwich we have a huge tackle store here "stapley" but there is nothing like local info no bull just honest opinions i think the shop is very well run and the lady there does a very good job as most fisherman dont like woman in the sport this oman has probaly forgotten more than we want to learn and her childs well cute i like the store family run well done "so back to me fishing there no bites at all can any body tell me were mackrell are as need bait for winter please help

Whalehunter,
We went to Colwyn bay pier last night, we arrived at 20:30ish and fished closest in (near pub), I had a dozen macs in 2 hours. Turned out nice again!!!

Whalehunter, Have you seen the prices on the fishing gear at stapley and on the bait £4.50 for ten Lugworm! You'll need a big tube of KY Jelly if shopping there!!

the best part of the north shore is down by the paddling pool for mackies, and closer in to the little orme for bass
