I have found it productive behind the holiday apartments by the roundabout on the way down to mount batten pier.Bass at night spring tides , good size wrasse during the day

alrite mate, havent seen any whales about but plently of everything else
for fun fishing the hoe is good for mackerel etc, and pollack after dark on a float
it can also be good for ray when using a prawn on the bottom. Mount batten peir is good for ray using prawn on the plymouth side
the river (tamar) is another good ray spot, again using prawns.
Also conger about now, off the hoe , mount batten and in the river
a neap tide seems better for these around the rivers, but in the middle of the hoe up to west hoe peir can produce on any tide

thanks fished devils point 3 conger to 4lb an lots of small black brean on the steps small whiteing
