hi guys, wat is the best way to keep lug worm fresh, im goin to dig it 2morrow for the trip upto sky so wat is the best way to keep it for use on saturday possibly sunday??? or will thy not last tht long

most tackle shops seem to keep them in sea water in a cat litter tray in a fridge, i usually only keep them for a day or two in newspaper, which is changed twice a day and kept in the fridge

roll them in newspaper and keep them cool using a cool box preferrably

keep them on shallow trays of sea water that should be changed every 2 days until your ready to go. lay them on paper for half an hour before wrapping to remove the surplus water then wrap in 20s. put wrapped worms in a cool box with ice block to keep chilled until needed. take only what you need for fishing leaving the rest in the box in the car.
they can be stacked in the cool box but not tightly, just rest one on top of the other.
