Spent the last few days with boat club MERTAC up at Scootland on a charter trip out of Scrabster Harbour.
Day 1 (14th July 2006)
We drifted just off the picturesque cliffs of the Orkneys for Pollock & Cod.
MickMac with a nice clean scottish codling of 4lb+
I land a decent Ling on a Storm Pike Lure (Perch).. :?:
A beaut of a codling of 4lb+ for me..
Neil with a superb Cod of 7lb..
John with a cracking Pollock of 7lb-3oz, (wins the heaviest fish prize donated by Moreton Angling Centre (thanks Chris he was well made up with his new spooling station )

.Summary shed loads of Pollock mainly in the 3-6lb mark + Codling n the 2-6lb range...

Day 2 (15th July 2006)
Cracking the flags today 8) 8) the picturesque harbour of Scrabster.

Different location today. . Drifting the cliffs of Dunnet Head 8)
6lb+ Pollock for me..
MickMac starts targeting Coalies...
John with another 7lb+ fish caught on a 10cm blue storm shad.
A wee codlin' in the 2-3lb range for me.
A mini Coalie tries to devour my Storm Shad..
Mick with a cracking Red Cod at 5lb-8oz.. 8)
Tony with this one at 6lb+ mark...
Another Pollock for me at 6lb-11oz..

Summary Another good days fishing today generally bigger fish but fewer of them..
overall good craic,good beer/food cracking fishing..
