8-)hi everybody, just got hold of some spiderwire .any of u guys en gals use it ,or have used it , whats your verdict thought i would try it for spinning, 8-)tightlines seanc

Its very big over here, the North Americans love the stuff.
depends on what lb'age you got, but Ive been using 6lb for ages for fresh water spinning and its good.

Used in extensively when was doing a lot of boat fishing (it helped that I also had several business trips to USA to source it at the time). I have one of the spools for my spinning reel loaded with it. Never found any problems even knot it as I would mono.

I use it beach casting, on the boat, spinning, and on my trout reals, 30lb 16lb 10 lb and 6lb, the only problem is when you real in without a fish, you need to hold the line aginst the rod with a fixed spool or it comes on too loose, other wise grate,
