For those you haven't heard or used a baiting needle before then here it is. i persoanally think they are a life saver for when your using worm baits. Its so easy and the worm is well presented. One end of the needle is a hole (as you can see) on the other end is a blunt edge, some of them are pointed. 1.hold you worm firmly and shove the blunt end through the mouth then gently thread it through the whole body 2.it will come out around the tail end 3. place your hook into the hole end and keep the snood line taught at all times 4.keep a firm grip with the line and needle while with your other hand gently push the worm up and around the hook untill the worm is fully on your line and hook. Easy peasy!

When I first started fishing I remember them being fairy handy but nowerdays it would be more hassle than it was worth. Probably best to learn the hard way and thread your worms by hand

i always use a baitng needle for worm as I find that I don't puncture the sides of the worm so much as when I just thread the worm on by hand. A brilliant invention! helen

i'm quite new to the game but i prefer to use a needle, i find it dead easy to thread on a worm using one not only that when i am baiting up with a big rag ive got about six inches of needle between my fingers and their nippers ;D haven't quite got to like rags yet, a bit like something out of doctor who. but if the fish like em i will use em [ with a needle] ;D ;D ;D ;D
