Any suggestions on best line for the hook length? this is for shore fishing
i'm happy with the hooks and swivels, and I've been advised to use 100lb mono about 18 inches in length
Tried using Veals rig mono, but i'm not happy with the memory it has.
Any idea, why its no better to use nylon coated wire??
any suggestions welcome

go to B&Q, get some of their smalest gage wire, and next to it some of their plastic tubing the smalest they have, the wire goes through just right, fit hook and swivel with big double crimps, the wire is 80k strenth, it will never get the twist in the wire, or get tangled, and when you have to grab the trace, it is confertable to handle, I use it on a 12ft trace on the boat, to longe for the beach, but if you put a smal ring in the loop you make when you put the swivel on,you can put the hook in to that when casting and it will come out as the bait hits the water, did you say conger! I thought you said white shark, ;D
