Sorry I didn't mention. I had plaice to 3lb but most were between 1lb and 2lb. Also some flounder about the same size.

Fished it today in the drizzle. 3 plaice. Largest was 2.5lb. Also had a nice fat 3lb flounder. I noticed that beads made a big difference especialy yellow ones for some strange reason. Didnt have any peeler so used live rag.

Guys.....please....this is getting too much Where ? shore or boat, how deep and if your feeling really generous a grid reference I have never fished further east than Portsmouth Harbour and have never caught a Plaice or Flounder bigger then 1 LB. This is my first year boating and it's totally fantastic, but knowing the marks/areas is like asking people for their credit card PIN So take pity on me and give a stranger a leg-up on the Hayling Island marks.... Cheers - Nick
