Hi folks...can anyone give me directions to a launch site at Hayling Island ? I fancy having a try for the Bream I keep hearing about down that way. Also, is there any areas that fish well for smoothies down that area ?? Cheers - Nick

You could try www.boatlaunch.co.uk/ which gives pretty good (and in my experience reliably accurate) informaiton - no guranatees though. No real idea about the fishing, although the eastern solent (bembridge and general area) often reports good results - out of my rnage though. Good luck

I use the slipway at broardmarsh havant which is located north end of langstone harbour. It is a wide slipway, with plenty of space to leave your car and trailer. you can launch from it up to 4 hours past high tide, but coming in at around three hours. If the tide is low keep to the left side, where the ground is firmer. We have caught several bream in the harbour. Also suggets you dont leave your car after dark here as travellers are known to set up camp. happy fishing Vena
