Noz,
I'm keen to find a good cod mark on the Wirrall but have been put off by stories of folks having their cars nicked while fishing, I take it Otterspool is ok? What's the venue like in the day for cod?
Thanks in advance, Jon

Thanks in advance, Jon I "live" on the Mersey during winter, and have done so for the past 30years....neither myself or anyone i know has ever had the slightest prob with motors......stereotypical images are hard to erase p.s There`s nothing wrong with the fish either.....that`s another myth

Baz/Kevo,
Sorry didn't mean to cause offence of stereotype, just don't relish the thought of a nights fishing (in my case blanking!!!) followed by a long walk home!
Baz, would gladly welcome some advice on the wirralside, e-mail is jon_h9@hotmail.com.
This forum (nwsa) and others (www.victoriapierangling.co.uk) are an invaluable source of info for inexperienced anglers like myself. Thanks to all who contribute and keep up the good work.

Stuff like car crime can happen anywhere. Sea anglers cars have been vandalised at the car park of Newborough beach which is the most beautifulest and remotest spot you can imagine! Having said that, it's also a good bass mark in spring so people may have spread that rumour to deter anglers.
