Hi Dave, Welcome to the Forum, First thing is tho...please do not post in Caps, this is regarded as shouting and bad manners I would suggest you read as many posts on the forums as you can, especially your local one then you can see what is being caught and where, i`m sure someone would be happy to take you along and give you advice etc....do you have sea fishing Tackle ? Bob.

Hi Davepen, nice to see another ex-freshwater man here. The main difference between freshwater fishermen and the sea variety is the smell. You'll be used to that maggoty, ground baity smell will you! Sea anglers usually smell of lugg and got slimy handshakes. ;D ;D ;D ;D. You'll get used to it, after a while you'll find it very pleasant. As Bob says, If you need any advice about venues or tackle ask away on the forum. May your lines be tight and your trips be often. All the best. Sam

hi Dave, I've been using this site for a few years now ( though i've only just registered ) and found the advice and tips to be a great help, but there's no substitute for just jumping in the car and exploring, unlike freshwater fishing you don't ( for the moment) need a license limiting your fishing areas, whilst we all like the familiar i think some sights are worth the trip ( oh and the fish too :-) Conway Harbour as the night falls across the esturary with a nice nod on the rod tip and clean soft sand under your feet...you just can't buy moments like that!
.....anyway have fun with the sea. Tight lines
