Well the time is near now for us losing car access to the Gynn/North Wall, they are starting to get in place the construction equipment for redoing the sea defenses and they will also be putting in pneumatic bollards at various places to stop you driving cars etc along the wall. They have already started at Cleveleys and it is intended to start on the wall section in the very near future. Depending on what has been decided, will see if we can still fish there after the work has been completed, if it is the honeycomb effect that they have done at Squires Gate, then that will see the end of fishing off the wall.
If anyone has any FIRM (not guesswork) information can they post it here, as the only info I can get is from the lads actually doing the work, and they only seen to know what they are doing week by week

I`ve just taken up your excellent advice with the gazette David and they are very interested in running a story and are looking for people to give them a ring on this as they feel it could impact on local business,,,tackle shops etc,,if there was no access to some of the more popular marks.
I would like to ask all anglers who fish Cleveleys and the Gynn to contact;
Andy Sykes at the Blackpool Gazette on 01253-361865.
If we can get a few people together he will come down for a chat and get some photos.
Feel free to contact me by PM or E-mail and perhaps we can organise getting there in numbers.
All the best,
Terry F.
