Fished sunday night from lowwater to 9.15amOnly had a few Flatties to squid on the ebb, Throught the tide I managed only 4 Bites! Untill 1 hour to high water I had a wrancking bite on my 3/0 -5/0 pennel bottom running rig. I jump up grab the rod and bang am into a nice Cod, After 5 minutes I see my Leader note, So with 1 hand I throw my dropnet over the side. By this time I was shaking like a "LEAF" Placed my rod on tripod grabed my leader in one hand and dropnet in other. so here it was Me against Fish........ I started to pull the Big COD up and with one turn of its head the fish was OFF S**t F**k T**T all the rest. I lost 3 sets of gear 1 nice Cod but be back there Sunday Morning after fishing the Match at Llandudno.

I always carry with me at least........
4 pkts fresh suey
1 box squid
1 mackerel
This dose me for 6-8 hours of fishing depending on size of baits I put out, starting from low up to high water.

Cod Corner is great but only has room for about 3 rods, if full then you can carry on round to the slipway and fish from the walkway to the right (looking seaward)
The whole area can be VERY snaggy so expect heavy tackle loss's
