fished from 6.30 to 10.30 and landed 14 fish. whiting, flounder and dabs. missed so many bites on the flood it was unreal. fish were bitting every couple of minutes, but it seem to be whiting hitting and running. must of been my hooks were too small. bites continued untill high water and then i had 4 quick fish then not a touch from 9.45 onwards ,so packed up. my lights had packed up by then anyway. baits were frozen lug, mackeral and rag.
i was fishing the the dragons teeth area.

Sorry ive always known the area as the "blocks" or the "back of the school" although i have not fished this area for several years .The plans for the new sea defences at Cleveleys (Beach Rd to Carr Gate) look interesting there is a public display at the sea end of Beach Road if anyone is interested.
