I detoured through Hoylake the other day and wondered why nobody posts any fishing info on the place, is it worh a try?

Red Rocks at the bottom of Stanley rd is a nice place to fish...it will give you flattys and odd bass in spring n summer.The main bass fishing is either side of low water on tides under 27.5ft (otherwise it flies in toooo quickly)...an onshore breeze is a must.If you park at the bottom of Beach Rd (halfway down Stanley rd) and walk out in the direction of 11 o`clock,you will see clay scars...this is the area that produces well when conditions are right.Big blow lug baits work well,and there`s tonnes of the stuff on the beach

I would have posted earlier,but i had trouble getting registered ....p.s the house bottom left of Stanley Rd belongs to Chris Boardman,of Olympic cycling fame....just a bit of useless info for you ;D
