Sea fishin. Tried it lovedit bought the rods. Typed northwest tackle to get a good shop and it pointed me ere which isnt a tackle shop but never mind coz its great. I'll tell me fishin mate as well coz we need the advice off ere. We fished bootle docks with floats and caught nowt an someone told us it aint as easy as that so tried fleetwood with a wire lead and got a flatfish and we was made up. Loads of places to fish on ere. Nice one kiddo's. New hobby and all that so lots to learn but thats the fun innit. Wot a find this page is. Nice one laaaaaaa!
ps Does anyone know a good sea tackle shop near Bootle or anywhere northwest? The ones we seen are all course stuff.

Hi You may wish to contact a club - Sefton Sea Anlgers are in your area. Alan Marklew is the man to contact re fishing the Rocks at Seaforth. Try Alan Johnsons Tackle if he is still open - good guy lots of real knowledge and experience. Regards Bill Sea fishin. Tried it lovedit bought the rods. Bill Even if you contact God you cannot fish the rocks at Seaforth .All fishing is banned there for "health and safety reasons" To fish the Alex docks apply direct to the dock office which will save you £3. You need to have at least 10 people and all their details including car registrations etc

Health and Safety seems to be the usual excuse to stop people enjoying their pastime - thats the reason given for them stopping it on Central and South Piers, Blackpool - nothing specific just the all embracing " elf n safety" that owners can hide behind.

Hi Pulleyrig
Check recent post of codling being caught at the Radar Tower - which was at Seaforth rocks!!!
Also check through people like Alan Marklew, as I was led to believe the booking for the docks were to include Seaforth Rocks.
I may be wrong and apologise in advance if I am, but certainly one person recently posted a venue report on the Rocks!!
Regards
Bill

Bill True fish have been caught at the radar tower , but only the small section which is not fenced off by the MDHB(permit is not required here). The bulk of the rocks which are on MDHB land ARE NOT fishable . You can book for the Alex via Alan which costs £3 or you can apply direct which is free
