Fished Mctays this afternoon 2 hours before and 1 after high tide. Caught 1 codling of just under a pound on Lug and Mackerel. Others around seemed to be catching the same. When I was leaving there, a red transit van was on the waste ground between the water and the gates and 2 lads were dumping allsorts there. I got their number plate but dont know if i should report it or not and to who? Its people like this who will stop us anglers fishing this place when the owners say enough is enough and block the path down to the river.

The people to report to is the EA by the same number as you do for illegal netting. Go to front page at www.nwsa.ukf.net and click conservation and then the 'report a net' link and phone that number. It's people like that who make it so the rest of us have to live in a country that's a tip and the removal of all that waste comes out of our tax money.
