Nice sunny day on the wirral, so me & JohnnyC decided to see if there where any Plaice around.. . . Short lobs into the gulley we where soon into the spotties. . 1lb1oz Plaice A wee Plaicette for me. . John snares another around the 1lb mark.. Another 1 at 12oz.. A double header of Plaice !!! Final scores on the doors JohnnyC..3 Plaice DaveW....3 Plaice, 1 Dab.. We where getting bites from the off, with Ragworm tipped with Peeler being top bait, so another session is in order next week or so.

Looks like a great day out. From the photo's it looks to me like you hit the sea front coming in off the M53/Leasowe fly over area, past Wallasey golf club and the pitch n putt, park up on the front and walk out to low tide ? Or do you turn left before the pitch n putt and park in the pub car park ? What I think of as Harrison Drive is marked as Kings Parade on Multimap. I'd like to give it a shot, am I in the right area ? Ta
