Hi Colin 1 fished the Mersey many times and never enjoyed it once, its dirty, messy, and rig unfriendly my advice is find somewhere to fish and stay well clear of the Mersey!!!!!!!!!.

Yes, Harrison Drive on the bank at low or high from the slipway for smoothies, the odd Bass, dabs and Plaice, clean and sandy with no tackle losses. Failing this try the Wirral/ Dee, Caldy, Thursaston or Red Rocks for Flounders, Plaice, and eels. Fresh Rag, lug, mackrel and Peeler all doing well.

Hi
Any truth in the rumour Mersey Docks & Harbour are to be sold to a company that have agreed to reopen Seaforth Rocks?
