cleveleys should fish well tonight, it has been really rough for the last two days, but calmed down last night, 5 bar gate from lw up and the gully at anchorsholme over the top of the tide should fish well.

well sean, fished Saturday morning LW last 2 back and 3 up, was expecting a reasonable morning, what with it being rough on Wed/Thurs. it was absoloutley dead, i usually get bites, even if i cant hook em because my hooks are large, but nothing at all. the wind had dropped almost completely; maybe too much but i still cant explain why it was so quiet. The water was still coloured with suspended silt, and there was quite a bit of stuff washed up, clams, the odd razor fish and lots of jellyfish and old sea urchin cases. maybe there was too much "natural" food for the fish to be bothered with my bait. tried black lug and tried fresh peeler crab, nothing seemed to work. Never mind I am going down after tea tonight, the sea is flat calm today, not really good for fishing but u never know. I will keep you posted.
