I've put a part of the kayak site as a GPS positions page. I certainly do not expect any of you to reveal your bass marks but if there's any good launch sites or hazards like rocks or in fact anything that could be of use to kayakers, please send me the Lat & Long digits and I'll put them on the page with of course credit to the sender.

One thing i have noticed on sites here and abroad is that some kayak fishermen deck their yaks out like the starship Enterprise with GPS fishfinder and VHF which is all good. My point is the most important items such as GPS and VHF should be attached to the PFD the theory being is if the wearer should enter the water losing his kayak and find he has no option but to call for help the said items will go to.

Sorry PDF Should have been PFD Personal Flotation Device. I have just modified it. Brookbank Canoes explained to me that the vest is not a life jacket but a personal flotation device. A life jacket will right a person that is with their face clear of the water facing toward the sky, even if they are knocked out. A PFD will only aid in keeping the casualty afloat, therefore if he is knocked out when entering the water or falls asleep awaiting rescue, he could possibly remain or end up face down in this position and drown.
