Big thanks to all the guys that were at the meet today. thanks for giving me the chance to have a paddle in both the p13 & p15, it was a big help to me making my mind up ;D it was good to put faces to names from the forum. if i wasn't too tight to buy batteries my camera wouldn't have died and there would have been some more good photos. I should have my boat by the next meet on the 4th, fingers crossed ;D Thanks again to everyone

Me too. I learned a lot. The close up views of the Little Orme cliffs were something else and the seals and gulliemots were the icing on the cake. Pity I lost that fish though. Hurry up and e-mail me the pics so I can put them on this thread.

We didn't fish long as Melissa began to tremble with cold. Buying her a cag this week. Had a lot of fun though especially trying out each others kayaks. Trimble and Stitch had a go of Melissa's Loko and my Malibu. Me and George tried their Prowler 15's. Great fun. Now I'm home though, I regret not taking up Daves offer of capsize practice. I wish I'd done it.

Hi gareth, i found the p13 to be the easiest to use, it seemed to have plenty of room, but i dont suppose you know until you get out using it. the next meet is on the 4th of feb at dinas dinlle at caernarfon. i will be there. fingers crossed ill have my boat by then. Come allong on the 4th mate give it a go. You might need a wetsuit though, it'l be cold!!

Great day Sunday. Big thanks to everyone and especially tribble and stitch for their patience and guidance - and 'demo's' of getting dumped on by a dumper. Looking fwd to the next time and maybe safety practise and things sometime. and to give you a smile (or a shiver) here is a picture of my mate Ed , we were on a lake in the snow , below zero air temp. He's wearing a wet suit , cag, footwear but naughty Ed left his gloves at home (and little fingers soon start to fail in the cold) and there something missing from Ed's ed. So Gareth if you go on the 4th Feb, like Martin said, come prepared ! all the best
