I hope Admin will allow my little Sunday evening post that has got nothing to do with fishing or kayaks ( since things are quiet out there). Something that may bring a smile to my kayak angling mates on this miserable weather day, especially allanc who has been looking for a chance to try out his boat and those who are dads or about to be dads ( and i'm particularly thinking of martinw here, as he is about to be a dad within a day or two if he's not one already[ looking fwd to news on that one martin] ) .My celebration is, that my youngest daughter Seren managed to totally screw up her first pattern event in the Tae kwon Do comp at Deeside today and we thought she was having a thoroughly hopeless day but she made up for it later, although she has won medals before almost by default, this time she really earned it in the sparring session and came out on top with a Gold. She can be a first class madam like the rest of 'em but today she made mam and dad proud. The pic is of her and her sister FFion standing by FFions Yak (which is what i hope makes this a half legit post ).Seren rekons she will post her own fishing reports of her own catches in her own yak in the summer - so watch out! Thanks Admin

Nice one, remind me not to try and nick her kayak off her for a go at the next meet, don't want my butt kicking ;D ;D ;D My daughter arrived at 215am Thursday morning after 17 hours of labour 8lb 6oz of pure casting and kayaking muscle ;D ;D nah it will be a few years before we see her in the surf. I'm managing to grab a quick 10 mins here and there on the forum to catch up with whats going on, back to normal soon. tight lines all, Martin
