i went along to north shore today to test out the x-factor i have posted some photos
This as you can see is the side view showing the wheel cart and rudder
The wheel cart is made from stainless steel and has pneumatic tyres which are wide so is a dodle to wheel up and down over rough or sandy ground its robust make-up is just the job and makes launching and retrieving very easy (one handed ) it also comes to pieces and fits in the front hatch easily .
The rudder makes tracking easy so there is no need for corrective strokes as you paddle saving all your energy to power your forward motion the paddle has large shaped blades and an aluminium shaft the blades are shaped and give a lot of power to the stroke I found it easy to paddle with the large blades
This is the seating area it is wider than average giving more room.
note The large hatch and the number of rivets used to fix it to the yak
And the elevated seat position giving a dryer ride.
The seat is available as a separate And with the angling back pack costs about £100.00 the amount of padding made it very comfortable it would be great on the prowlers ( I ordered one for mine )
Photo 3 shows the flat surfaces available for mounting fishfinders.ect and large front hatch .
After a paddle around in it I found it very stable it cut through the surf really easy and
Would make a great angling boat at one stage we had 2 people on board with no loss in stability I could feel my conclusion is .a great boat very stable loads of storage room i(i want one )
Anyone want to buy a prowler just kidding
