after leaving hatter and tribble me and steve went around the orme as far as the lighthouse on the cliff what a sight looking up at that .it was chopy but kayaks just hanndle it easely we would have liked to go on but time was pushing on. paddling back was a little harder wind and tide but im not thet fit and managed it ok hpoe to get out again soon

that was quite some trip, did you not find it hard work in the current in the river?? i think a trip round the orme after that would have killed me what was the tide and currents like round the orme??, bet you had a battle on the way back in.

to be honest martin i havent trained much for years and im 46 this year i was worried that i would struggle esspescially when your kayak partner is 20 years younger but im supprised how its been dont want to say easy but if you just keep on plodding along youll get there i can honestly say that its somthing iwill still be doing when im 65 god willing we did turn back against the tied to make sure it wasnt to hard so a bit of thought and planning must go in to your trip, the waves look a bit intimadating bit these kayaks just bob along and are quiet stable ive never had so much fun since mad sunday
