I spend a lot of time float fishing for bream, bull huss, bass and the rest. Lure fishing is just as easy. you can do any thing that you could do on a boat, except stand up and ~~~~ over the side ;D

If I'm floating for bull huss, thorn back or tope i set the rig 1 meters of the floor that way i slow the dogs down I have landed lots of bull huss and some thorn back but no tope this way, all mostly of the boat using a 6 hook.
The bream off the kayak is a simple float setup with a 5 hook shrimp hokki lure set attached in stead of a hook, with the last hock just off the ground, use a small peace of squid on each hook, they prefer sand eel but can strip a hook in a second, you stand a better Chance of hooking them on squid,

Hi dunny Take a look at the picture on the left. I was lure fishing with a Fladen jointed floating diver but you cant see it on the thread but take my word for it its good fun. Before Dave (tribble) got this shot i trolled the same lure for about half a mile to the mark and what a heart stopping ride it was. A few times the reel screamed off the result was a sudden burst of excitement, shock and confusion all rolled into one. Imagine paddling along when a fish takes your lure and you cant decide whether to put the paddle down first or pick your rod up, i did both and got into a pickle a few times.
John ;D ;D ;D
