Hope lots of you are planning to come on the kayak meet at Pensarn on Easter Sun (16th Apr). This kayak meet is running alongside the NWSA Easter match so I'm hoping that quite a few shore anglers may be tempted to the 'dark side'! The theme of this meet will be on trying each others kayaks and practice as well as actual fishing. I'm looking forward to a test paddle on Ffions Frenzy. Brookbank Canoes are bringing an array of kayaks and paddles and other equipment. I know a few of you want to experiment with different paddles. I'm also going to try and arrange for a tea urn so everyone has access to free hot brews. Lets hope for a good day.
If anyone wants bait or rigs for the match, ring Ray on 01492 530 663 and he'll have them waiting for you at the match.

Sorry to say i wont be there , I arranged to stay at her dads over Easter somewhere near Bangor Northern Ireland. As you can imagine I'm gutted but i will be doing a re-con of the coastline and i believe there is a huge sea loch not far away , A future fishing holiday i think. ;D Make sure there are loads of pictures on my return i will look forward to viewing them and reading the posting. John ;D ;D ;D

I thought that as I asked Brookbanks if I could collect early. As i'm working both this saturday and sunday, my boss had no objection to me being a bit late for work this coming thursday. Hope the traffic isn't to bad, might not make it in

Funnily enough, me and Georgie were talking about you on the phone yesterday Ian. We came to the conclusion that one of the main reasons that seakayakangling is taking off so much in North Wales is that we have the right type of coastline and that the next area to see it take off (for the same reason) is Devon and Cornwall and that you'll probably be part of the spearhead.

I think it will be a growth area and the August arrangment will be important.
I just got to be out and get my experience level up.
It is perfect in many places and the fishing possibilities are endless.
