fished penmon today off the kayak weather fantastic only had 4 hours out though not long enough . malcolm said we might find herring the other side of puffin ,but only got couple of whiting trouled up and down past the the lighthouse but no luck anyone through any light on the herring ?

malcolm probably sent you there to see if there was herring there coz hes good like that, sent me on many a wild goose chase with one of his hunches, bless him. how was it paddling round penmon fancy that myself

it was fine martin we stayed on the left side zebra said its a bit turbilent around the back it wasnt a problem by lighthouse either but a good day for it anyway

yeah your right it was a cracking day for it, if i had known that the weather was going to be like this today i would have had a dabble myself, ive always fancied giving penmon a try but i will be honest the place scares me, i wouldnt go near the lighthouse when i had my boat, 2 lads i knew from pen died of there a few years back, their boat went under in the currents, i think thats where my wearyness comes from, i wll give it a go though with a gang of us, especially now you've sid it not too bad, any seals there?
