Hi all, I,m new to this kayaking a well. I 've just bougt a yellow Prowler 13 from Deva in Pentraeth. Had to order it cos they were out of stock. Prices going up after easter. They did have a green Prowler 15 & a Malibu 2 seater in stock along with some smaller fun type sit-on-tops last week. Also try Surf Lines in Llanberis. They advertise Ocean kayaks. They also advertise a one day training course in Anglesey for kayak anglers. May give that a go.

Good bikes. Mine is ill at present though. Try and make it to one of the meets as you'll learn a lot. It's amazing how quickly you make the learning curve compared to those who yak alone. You'll learn more from one meet than you would from a £200 yakking course! The tips you pick up are priceless and little things like watching how people get in the yak with a rolling surf or how people surf back in, even little things like where they keep their knife or radio, are so helpful.

Thanks for that advice. I must admit, I'd never have thought of things like that. It shows that no matter how much you read, there's nothing better than practical knowledge gained from experience, whether its your own or somebody else's.
Regards, Graham
