Met up with a forum user (Jonathon Martin) yesterday after he e-mailed me to look at a kayak (caper) he'd seen advertised. I know I'm unqualified but was willing to help. It had a gap in the welding of the scuppers that you could see through. There were scratches along the bottom so deep you could see light through them. The carrying toddles were fraid and the seat buckles were snapped. All this and it was offered at just £50 less than the cost of a new one. Wish I'd taken my camera! Jon seemed disapointed that I knocked it and the seller was mift when I said he should lower the price from £425. Nice of Jons family to make me a nice dinner and nice to meet them. Very odd experience surfing my website on someone elses computer. Now I've seen it on 800x600 res I might change a few things Sorry to see your disapointment Jon (it was written all over your face) but you'll get a much better one than that. P.S. Your wife seemed to brighten up when I shook my head to say you'd not got it!
