Guys
I'm still using a modified golf trolley with two cut off broom handles bolted on, which pass up through the sternmost scupper holes on my Malibu 2XL.
This works well, the only problem is that the tyres keep coming off the wheels when we go over rough ground. My latest modification is to cable tie them on. Not tried it out yet.
Talking to the guy at the dive shop in Trearddur Bay - he reckons there are some new carbon fibre?? ones coming onto the market as the aluminium ones have been breaking.
They are reported to be about £80. Has any one got or seen one?
Cheers
Steve

heard about them but not seen them, ive not got a trolley for my yak yet but ive got the kit i need to knock one up. Baisicly like you i have the wheels and axle off an old golf trolley.
A few of the guy's have got the propper trolleys but i refuse to buy one purely because i think they are well over priced for what they are.
There must be a way of sorting yours out??

The cable ties worked a treat. Trearddur Bay and back from the Cliff on Saturday with no tyre problems. The £80 stays in my pocket for now!

Look forward to your full test/photos.
Cable tied golf trolley wheels took a lot of punishment over the weekend with no problems - but there's got to be a more elegant way!

John these trolleys are almost bomb proof and should last for years they have no fiddly bits or awkward hinges just slide them under the kayak and secure with a strap .a very simple no nonsense no frills trolleys .and they work very well with the prowlers I had a p15 on my proto-type today and a p13 on top of that 2 up and dragged it all over the place with no problems at all and the best bit is they will only be £40.00 each so a nice and cheep trolley.
