Hi As a former canoe-instructor, but a very inexperienced fisherman, I may be able to offer some limited advice. The Prowler15 is a superb sea boat - I have had mine out in some HUGE seas without any problem, and I mean huge! It is quick, tracks exceptionally well, and stores a vast amount of stuff. I've used it to carry all the supplies plus a dog for wild camping on expeditions in the Hebrides. For a beginner or inexperienced paddler the P15 is very forgiving and very stable - my wife was going on 15mile trips within the first week of sitting in a canoe for the first time. As a SOT, the P15 has all the advantages for inexperienced paddlers over a SINK. The downside is: it's a very big, heavy boat off the water. Handling it at the end of a long day, hauling on to roof rack, tide out, etc is exhausting. There's the rub - everybody wants a big boat on the water and a bat off it! You have to decide if you need the extra capacity of the P15 - do you intend paddling out long distances? If so, get the P15. However, the P13 is almost as good as the P15 on the water, and a little more manageable off it. I tend to go paddling with the kitchen sink aboard so the P15 was the logical choice - but as my ageing body protests more and more, I find I am 'borrowing' my daughter's Frenzt more and more! I have limited experience of kayak fishing, but both Prowlers are extremely popular with k-fisherman on both sides of the Atlantic.
Hope that was of some use.

Hi Gedi, might see you on the Water I fish Hayling, the Witterings and Bracklesham, looking try a few marks to the West but still close to home. Trying to get a meet together for some none kayakers sometime in September, all local boys and quite enthusiastic, we will probably meet up in Langstone for them to get a feel for it. Prowler 4.5 nice choice, which version/colour did you go for. SM
